Internal surveys since 1987 have shown that the cost of care provided at HolVet is typically 50% or less
than the national average for long term conventional care. The first appointment is the most extensive,
and lays the foundation for a treatment plan that makes sense and leads toward cure, which is always the goal. Follow
up appointments are much briefer and simpler. They take place every 4-6 weeks on average for chronic (long term)
conditions, more often for critical cases. Average total treatment time runs 2 mos to 2 years, depending on the
severity of the problems. This is often far less than conventional treatment (which is often life long for chronic conditions).

Emergency Surcharge $50-100
The emergency surcharge is in addition to consultation fees or
any other fees. It is incurred whenever immediate emergency petcare is needed outside of regular office hours and the
emergency phone number (my personal cell phone) is used. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am to 4pm.
I am one of a very small minority of veterinarians left who cover their own practice's emergencies. Most veterinarians
use an emergency service. While I am grateful for emergency clinics, I do not feel this provides optimal care for my
patients and will continue to avoid using them as much as possible.
1. Please note: Fees for additional
pets at the same appointment reflect a 33% multiple pet discount. This
may well be the highest multiple pet discount in the field.
2. Vaccine exemption letters are provided for current patients with a recurrent or chronic health
issue, as deemed appropriate by Dr Yasson, to help avoid excess risk of damage by vaccines.
3. Missed and Late-Cancelled appointments may be rescheduled
any time. A $30 fee will be assessed to reschedule, for the first incident. Further MA and LC rescheduled
appts will incur a $60 fee.

effort to post new fees here on the website prior to change.
